2. Book is placed on a v-shaped cradle.

 

 
3. A v-shaped transparent platen gently engages the book to make the pages flat.
 
  1. 4. Computer sends order to the cameras to shoot images.

 

 
5. Each page gets captured by its corresponding camera.

 

 
  1. 6. Images are immediately sent back to the computer for display on the screen.
 
7. Computer then rotates, crops, resizes the images and adjust their DPI real-time to make them in distribution-ready quality.
 
8. User flips the page to next and let the process repeats until completion.
